For the purposes of this book, I am calling these factors "Laws." After decades of intimate involvement with the topic, I consider them to be the foundational, undeniable principles that govern music marketing.
These laws were in effect decades ago, they are alive and well today, and they will continue to influence musicians, songwriters, bands, and fans for decades to come.

In a world filled with ever-changing options, I find it comforting to know there are some things I can always count on. I often use the topic of weight loss to illustrate this point. There have been many times in my life when I've felt confused and overwhelmed about what to eat and how to exercise. I'll start by saying that I own all of Bob Baker's books. Why? Because he actually gives you practical information that you can apply right away. His content speaks to independent artists that are on a budget. And this book is a gem. Easy read, fast paced, wisely structured to remember the laws and overdelivers in value. It's the kind of book that you'll tell yourself "I always wondered that" or "I never knew artists put in effort into so many details". It's almost mind blowing.To any artist that needs real guidance for almost free, this is the book to buy.

I am a big fan of Bob Baker's music marketing books and his music as well. What I enjoyed most about this book and most of his books I read are his action steps that you can apply right away to improve your career. I resonated with all irrefutable laws of music marketing in this book and will get started applying them asap because I truly believe they will have a huge impact on my music career.
